We build the system behind the website.
Voltra Technologies is a digital engineering and automation studio in Chennai, working with businesses across India. We build websites, applications and the automation that connects them to the rest of how a company actually runs.
The work
Most businesses do not need another website.
They need the thing behind it. In almost every business we look at, the site is adequate and the problem is everything that should happen after somebody fills it in.
Enquiries arrive across four channels with no single record. Follow up happens when somebody remembers, which is not often. The same figures are typed into three systems that still disagree with each other.
Nobody can say which page or campaign produced last month's customers. One person understands the whole process, and they are on leave. That is the work. The website is only where it becomes visible.
We would rather lose a project at discovery than build something you regret in year two.

Discover
1 to 2 weeksWe sit with the people who do the work and map how it actually runs, including the workarounds nobody has written down. It ends with a written scope, a dated plan and a fixed price.
You approve the number before anything starts.

Design
2 to 3 weeksStructure first, so we argue about the shape while it is still cheap to change. Then full design against your real content at your real data volumes, including the empty and error states.
No placeholder text in anything you sign off.

Build
3 to 12 weeksWeekly increments on a staging URL you can open. Course corrections happen in week three rather than week ten, because you can see the thing rather than read about it.
If a week produced nothing worth showing, we say so.

Launch and support
OngoingWe migrate, test on real devices, and stay close for thirty days. After that, maintenance keeps it patched, backed up and monitored, with a named person who answers.
Everything is handed over on the final invoice.

We do not pretend one team is expert at everything.
Voltra scopes the work, manages it and carries the commercial relationship. Delivery is by our own team and, where a project needs a specialism, by vetted people from the Voltra Community we have worked with before.
You deal with one point of contact and receive one invoice. That is how twenty two services are covered without the quality drifting between them.
