The problem
Cheap shared hosting is cheap for a reason. Your site sits alongside hundreds of others, one of which will eventually attract enough traffic or malware to slow everyone down. Support is a ticket queue. Backups exist in theory and nobody has ever tested restoring one.
The bill is four hundred rupees a month, and the day the site goes down during a campaign it costs a great deal more than that.
What we provide
Infrastructure sized to your traffic, with caching and a CDN in front so pages are served fast wherever the visitor is. SSL configured and renewed automatically. Security patching applied rather than announced.
Backups daily, held off the server, retained for thirty days, and restored on a quarterly test so we know they work.
How we work
- Assess. Current traffic, growth expectation and what the site actually needs.
- Migrate. To staging first, tested, then cut over at a quiet time.
- Harden. Firewall, patching, access control and backups.
- Monitor. With alerts routed to a person, and a monthly report.
Who this is for
Businesses where the website matters commercially. If an hour of downtime costs you more than a month of hosting, shared hosting is a false economy.
Why cheap hosting is expensive
Shared hosting is cheap because your site sits alongside hundreds of others on one machine. One of them will eventually attract enough traffic, or enough malware, to slow everyone down. You have no visibility into which and no recourse.
Support is a ticket queue staffed by people who have never seen your site. Backups exist in the marketing copy and have never been restored by anyone.
The bill is a few hundred rupees a month, and the morning the site is down during a campaign it costs considerably more than the annual saving.
Sized to what you actually need
We size infrastructure to your real traffic and growth expectation rather than selling the largest plan available. For most business sites that is modest, and we would rather set it correctly and revisit it than overprovision by default.
For India first traffic we host in Mumbai regions with a CDN in front, so static assets are served near the visitor wherever they are.
Backups that have been tested
Daily, held off the server, retained for thirty days, with a restore tested quarterly.
That last part is what separates a backup from a hope. A backup nobody has restored is an assumption, and the moment you discover it does not work is always the worst possible moment.
Monitoring and response
Uptime checks every minute and performance monitoring that alerts us before you notice. Most issues are resolved before anyone reports them.
When something does need you, you reach a named person who already knows your setup, with a defined response time rather than a queue position. One hour for a site that is down during business hours, with out of hours cover on higher tiers.
Security
Firewall rules, operating system and package patching on a schedule after staging verification, SSL issued and renewed automatically, SSH key access only, and least privilege on every account.
We also monitor for the specific signatures of a compromised site, because the first sign is usually search engines flagging you rather than anything obvious on the page.
Migration without drama
We migrate to staging first, test the whole site including forms and payments, then cut over at a quiet hour with DNS time to live reduced in advance so the switch propagates quickly.
Migration is included rather than billed as a separate project, and we will tell you honestly if your current setup is already fine.
