The problem
Most SEO reporting is designed to look good rather than to be useful. Rankings for terms nobody searches, traffic that never enquires, and a monthly report carefully built to avoid the only question that matters, which is how many customers this produced.
Meanwhile the actual blockers are usually technical and unglamorous. A site that renders in the browser so crawlers see an empty page, duplicate content across parameters, no internal linking, and pages that take six seconds on a phone.
What we do
We start with the technical layer, because content investment on a broken site is wasted. Then keyword research filtered by commercial intent, which usually cuts the target list sharply and improves results.
Then content that answers what buyers actually ask, and internal linking so those pages are reachable and understood. Orphan pages do not get indexed, whatever their quality.
How we work
- Audit. Crawl, index coverage, rendering, speed, structure, schema. You get a prioritised list with expected impact and effort.
- Fix. Technical work first, then on page optimisation.
- Build. Content against a plan, published on a schedule, and linked properly.
- Local. Google Business Profile, citations and location relevant content where the business serves an area.
- Report. Enquiries by landing page and by source. Rankings are included but they are not the headline.
Honest reporting
You get told what moved, what did not, and what we are changing as a result. If a month was poor we say so and explain why. Agencies that never report a bad month are managing the report rather than the results.
Who this is for
Businesses with a real product and a site worth sending traffic to, willing to invest across six to twelve months. SEO is not a sensible choice if you need enquiries next week, in which case start with paid search.
Why most SEO reporting is useless
A typical monthly report shows rankings for terms nobody searches, traffic that never enquires, and a chart trending upward. It carefully avoids the only question that matters, which is how many customers this produced.
We report enquiries by landing page. If a page ranks well and produces nothing, that is a finding rather than something to hide behind an impressions graph.
Technical work comes first
The blockers are usually unglamorous. A site that renders entirely in the browser, so crawlers receive an empty page. Duplicate content across URL parameters. Pagination that buries products. No internal linking, so pages exist but nothing points at them. Pages taking six seconds on a phone.
None of that is fixed by publishing more articles. We fix the foundation first and we can usually show index coverage improving within weeks.
Choosing terms by intent
Search volume is the wrong primary filter. Someone searching for what is CRM software is reading. Someone searching for CRM development company in Chennai is buying.
Filtering by intent usually cuts a keyword list sharply and improves results, because effort concentrates on the terms where a ranking converts into an enquiry.
Local search
For businesses serving Chennai and Tamil Nadu, the Google Business Profile often produces more enquiries than the website. We optimise the profile properly, build consistent citations, manage review generation, and create location relevant content that is genuinely about the area.
What we will not do is generate templated pages with the city name swapped. Google classifies those as doorway pages and penalises the whole domain, which is a poor trade for a handful of extra URLs.
Content that earns its place
Every piece answers a question your buyers actually ask, sourced from your sales team rather than a keyword tool alone. An hour interviewing the people who handle objections daily produces better material than a week of desk research.
Structure matters as much as substance: correct heading order, scannable lists, internal links to the commercially relevant pages, and schema where it applies.
What we will not do
We do not buy links. Paid link schemes breach Google guidelines and recovering from a manual penalty costs far more than the links ever returned.
We do not guarantee rankings, because they depend on competitors and algorithm changes outside anyone's control. Any agency that guarantees a position is either targeting terms nobody searches or planning something that will damage you.
Honest months
Some months are poor. Algorithm updates land, competitors invest, seasonality bites. We tell you when that happens and what we are changing in response. An agency that never reports a bad month is managing the report rather than the results.
